Coughlin leaves Telegraph

Daily Telegraph executive foreign editor Con Coughlin has left the paper’s staff after his stint running the department saw eight correspondents depart in a wave of sackings and resignations. Coughlin left his staff position on December 1, without a payoff. He will continue to write his Inside Abroad column and work from the Telegraph’s Victoria offices on a retainer. link
