Before you ask, no, you do not have to be a journalist to join!
Frontline Club was founded in 2003 by Cameraman Vaughan Smith with the sign up of 300 journalists and foreign correspondents. Today our membership consists of photographers, writers, documentary filmmakers, captains of industry, artists and activists.
Our membership is £1 a day or £365 a year paid upfront or via monthly instalments. The aim of the membership is to keep us self funded and pay it forward for the Charity’s main work, the events programme that produces nearly 200 events per year and has done for the past 19 years. The programme aims to bring to light conflict and injustice and bright to light the unreported world. Ancillary to this, membership supports various initiatives that ensure safety for journalists and champion freedom of speech around the globe.
